It's so nice to meet you, my name is Mrs. Hauck and I am so thankful to teach first graders at PHCA. My philosophy of teaching is to encompass the whole child. Each educational day will be filled with those experiences that will develop and enhance your child's academic, spiritual, physical, and moral selves. I am particularly passionate about science, reading, and writing and 4-H (you can usually find me at most any local county fairs!). Your child will be immersed in actively pursuing their interests and learning new facets of themselves. Our classroom is infused with a Christian-based atmosphere.
I began my educational journey at North Dakota State University, majoring in Animal Science and Communications. I worked for three years as a 4-H & Youth Extension Educator serving several rural Minnesota counties. I returned to Augsburg College to complete an Elementary Education Licensure and then received my Masters of Education through Hamline University. I have also received my Minister of Religion certification. I have taught for over 19 years in a variety of classroom settings from Kindergarten through 3rd Grade in both private and public schools.
